Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview broadcast on Wednesday February 14 that he preferred Joe Biden to Donald Trump but was ready to work with any American president.

Asked by a reporter which president would be better for Russia, Mr. Putin replied:
“Biden is a more experienced person.
He is predictable, he is an old-fashioned politician
.
The Russian president, however, refused to comment on the debates in the United States on Mr. Biden's age.
“When I met Mr. Biden in Switzerland, it was three years ago it is true, there was already talk of his incapacity, but I saw nothing of the sort
,” he said.
“Nefarious political position”
“What we need to look at is the political position and the position of the current (US) administration is extremely harmful and wrong
,” Putin added.
Moscow
“will work with any American leader the American people trust
,” he said.
The presidential campaign in the United States was shaken last week by devastating comments from a magistrate on the failing memory of the 81-year-old American president.
This observation was rejected by Joe Biden's camp.
Former Republican President Donald Trump has been accused in recent years of playing into Russia's hands.
He aroused European indignation by threatening in a recent outburst to encourage Russia to attack NATO countries whose defense spending is considered insufficient.
