On Monday February 5, around 6 p.m., his mother went out for a few minutes for a walk.

“My wife had an appointment on Tuesday February 6 to induce labor,” explains her husband.

She began to walk in order to bring the baby down to the level of the pelvis, this makes the birth less painful.

Her journey takes her to rue Jean-Charcot in Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis), where she feels violent contractions which prevent her from continuing on her way.

While returning from an errand, Rabah Soltani, a delivery man, saw this 34-year-old woman writhing in pain.

“She was on a reservation in the middle of the road,” explains this Algerian.

I immediately parked and went to help him.
