Because network fees will be increased, electricity prices at Stadtwerke Landsberg will also rise in 2024.

The costs will increase for customers from April.

Landsberg - The deletion of 60 billion euros from the climate and transformation fund at the federal level also nullifies the hoped-for relief in network fees of 5.5 billion euros - which is why the Landsberg municipal utilities are also increasing their prices.

Stadtwerke Landsberg increases electricity prices: costs will rise from April 1st - customers will be informed

The transmission system operators 50 Hertz, Amprion, Tennet and Transnet BW will therefore increase the transmission network fees in 2024.

These, in turn, have increased by an average of 6.43 cents per kilowatt hour, “more than doubling compared to previous prices,” informs Stadtwerke press spokeswoman Kathrin Weber.

This increases the Electricity Network Fee Ordinance levy from 0.403 cents to 0.643 cents per kilowatt hour.

As of April 1st, the municipal utilities would have to adjust the tariffs, said Weber: “Specifically, with an annual electricity consumption of 2,500 kWh in the “Comfort” tariff, this leads to additional monthly costs of around 4.73 euros.” Customers are informed with a “detailed “Write directly,” promises Weber.

The municipal utilities are not the only ones adjusting their prices.

According to Merkur, numerous providers nationwide are increasing prices.

According to BR, there are also providers such as Stadtwerke Augsburg who are not yet planning any price increases.
