In view of the assessment that the war will lead to an increase in the number of people dealing with post-traumatic symptoms, the rehabilitation department is preparing to provide additional psychological torture.
This, along with the many torturers formulated as part of the "One Soul" reform.
These days, two therapeutic farms for mentally challenged people have started operating, and three more will be opened in the near future.
With the beginning of the war, the rehabilitation division decided to postpone the medical committees, with the aim of allowing the wounded and their family members to focus solely on rehabilitation while receiving medical, mental, financial and welfare support from the division.
As part of focusing on the process of treating and rehabilitating the wounded, most medical committees will be postponed for a year, but there will be medical committees for the seriously injured or the lightly injured, who are not expected to suffer physical or mental disabilities.
"The war created needs that we did not imagine," says the head of the rehabilitation division at the Ministry of Defense, Limor Luria, adding: "What was true on October 6, is not true on October 7 - including the treatment of abductees and children."
