There is a new start in the Olchinger Inselcafé.

A “Burgerhouse” branch will soon be moving here.

Olching - The completely newly renovated delicacy temple in the heart of the city is scheduled to open in two weeks.

The owner is a 52-year-old franchise entrepreneur.

He already runs a restaurant in Schwabing for the chain, which has been represented exclusively in and around Munich at 13 locations for twelve years.

Coffee rounds

But the Olchingers still don't have to miss out on their usual coffee sessions.

Before the burgers prepared according to a special recipe and with meat from the region can be ordered from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., the restaurant opens as a classic breakfast café from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

After there were recent frequent changes of tenant, homeowner Horst Brehmer is now hoping for a longer-term commitment.

The architect acquired the former warehouse, which later housed several bakeries and is one of the few listed buildings in the city, in 2012.

Since 2017, three tenants had tried their luck with a daytime café.
