Accident number two, like number one, occurred on Münchner Straße in October.
The BRK lost its third emergency ambulance last week.

For the third time in a short period of time, an emergency vehicle from the BRK Starnberg was severely damaged in an accident.
In the most recent case it was a rental car.
Meanwhile, insurance issues are being clarified in the background.
Starnberg - For the BRK district association Starnberg it is an annoying coincidence: For the third time in just a few months, an emergency ambulance was totaled in an accident in Starnberg.
Most recently on Thursday last week, when the driver tried to avoid an animal on Maisinger Weg in Starnberg.
As reported, the other accidents occurred in October - both in almost the same place on Münchner Straße in Starnberg.
“We hope that we will get all damages reimbursed by the insurance company,” says BRK spokeswoman Karin Windorfer when asked by Starnberger Merkur.
However, the questions have not yet been finally clarified.
“That's always difficult: an emergency doctor sometimes drives through a red light.” That was the case, for example, on October 28, 2023, when the emergency vehicle was heading towards the A 952 with blue lights.
What doesn't make things any easier is that the emergency vehicle that was damaged on Thursday was a rental car.
Windorfer could not say whether this would have negative consequences for the BRK.
A second vehicle from a car rental company is also currently in use.
According to Windorfer, the BRK will have its own cars again from March.
The emergency medical accidents would not have any impact on the emergency service's ability to operate.
The BRK has a large network, so drivers from the district can access cars from the BRK Fürstenfeldbruck district association relatively spontaneously, explains the spokeswoman.
There are four emergency doctor locations in the Starnberg district: Starnberg, Gauting, Herrsching and Tutzing.
