The term of office begins for the newly crowned “Miss Grandma” Gisela Huber, who was elected in Giggenhausen.

– “Everything seems easier to us when we are in a good mood and with a sense of humor!” This is how club boss Rose Taschner, wearing a rainbow-colored hippie wig, gave the numerous guests in their older years a warm welcome at the Giggenhauser grandpa and grandma club’s sweepstakes on Tuesday.
The focus of the happy end to the carnival in the Metzgerwirt was the election of “Miss Grandma”.
The responsible committee chose Gisela Huber this year.
The 84-year-old was deemed worthy of replacing “Miss Grandma” 2023, Rosemarie Siegl, on the throne.
Instead of the fertility order, this year there was a contentment order
Traditionally, in a foolish setting, some members are always awarded a medal for special services.
The highest order is the Fertility Order, which according to the statutes goes to new (great) grandparents due to “educational family planning”.
But things looked bad this year.
So that there could be a proper awarding of the medal, a satisfaction medal was created without further ado, which went to waitress Elli and landlord Daniel to great applause.
The new Miss Grandma
Gisela Huber, the new “Miss Grandma”, is not a native of Giggenhausen, but moved from Freising in the 1980s.
In the Neufahrn district, she and her now deceased husband realized their dream of owning their own home.
She has a daughter and two grandchildren and has been a member of the Grandpa and Grandma Club “with heart and soul” for 20 years.
In her previous professional life, she worked for Telekom in the areas of building technology and building construction.
Even today she still enjoys being active and being in the fresh air.
By the way, even at the age of 84, her great passion is still hunting: “I climb onto the high seat until they have to take me up with the lifting platform,” said the young-at-heart senior citizen on Tuesday with a wink.

The tried and tested good mood mix again included coffee and cakes and, as an entertaining icing on the cake, two humorous two-person skits performed by club boss Rose Taschner and Brigitte Zollinger.
Above all, a delicious women's ratsch was top notch.
As a knowledgeable, medically experienced advisor, Taschner recommended that her very pain-stricken interlocutor visit various doctors with specialists, such as an “earologist”, “neckologist”, “darmologist” or even an “arschiologist”.

The greatest masks are awarded the strangest prizes
Then there was the mask award for the best dressed guests.
As usual, the three most original costumes were awarded prizes, as well as sweets.
The third prize went to “Firefighter” Fritz Nischwitz, Karl Püchler was a convincing runner-up in the gardener costume and the main prize in her charming bee costume was won by none other than the newly crowned Miss Grandma: Her – initially hidden – prize: a “crack cleaning device”: What on earth can this be?
Huge laughter erupted as she finally held a roll of toilet paper in her hand.
