The Free Voters in Grafing invite you to the traditional wallet washing on Ash Wednesday from 6 p.m. on the town hall square on the Urtel.
The Free Voters (FW) Grafing invite you to the traditional wallet washing on Ash Wednesday, February 14th.
The meeting point is at 6 p.m. at Rathausplatz.
By washing the wallet, one hopes that the Urtel will have a beneficial (financial) effect on private and public household budgets.

The custom of washing purses goes back to the 15th century: At the beginning of Lent, the servants reported to their masters that their purses were empty after Carnival.
After the “work” is done, Grafinger beer and fish rolls are provided – while stocks last!
