Russian warship sunk by Ukrainian vessels in Black Sea/Ukrainian intelligence
Ukrainian forces today (Wednesday) destroyed the large warship of the Russian Navy "Caesar Konikov" off the coast of the occupied Crimea peninsula in the Black Sea - this is what the Ukrainian army said.
A Ukrainian media outlet published several videos showing a column of smoke rising over the sea, off the southern shores of Crimea, as well as helicopters flying overhead.
Moscow has not yet responded to the allegations but said earlier it had destroyed six unmanned vessels in the Black Sea.
"The armed forces of Ukraine, together with the intelligence unit of the Ministry of Defense, destroyed the large amphibious landing ship 'Cesar Konikov.'
The Ukrainian military intelligence agency said that the Russian warship was attacked by unmanned vessels.

In the past year, Ukraine has increased its use of such vessels, loaded with explosives, to attack Russian warships in the Black Sea.
Following the increasing vulnerability of the Russian navy in the region, Kyiv was able to open a sea corridor along a major export route.
In December, Ukrainian cruise missiles hit another large Russian warship in the Crimea.
