A driver crashed into a tree on state road 2070 between Faistenhaar and Aying.

A 46-year-old VW driver died in a serious accident on state road 2070 between Faistenhaar and Aying.
Aying - As the police report, the accident occurred on Wednesday shortly after 11 a.m. in the direction of Sauerlach.
For reasons that are still unclear, the VW Golf veered off the road to the left and crashed head-on into a tree without braking.
Resuscitation ultimately unsuccessful
Emergency services from the fire brigades from Aying, Hofolding and Brunnthal rescued the seriously injured driver from the wreckage.
A rescue helicopter and an ambulance were also in use.
Although attempts were made to resuscitate the 46-year-old from the southern district of Munich for a long time, the man died at the scene of the accident.
State highway closed
According to the police, the state road had to be completely closed to investigate the accident.
An expert should now clarify exactly how the accident occurred.
