Today the announcement of Yair Yaakov's murder was also delivered to his family.
Yair was murdered on October 7 and his body was kidnapped and held by Hamas.
Yair was a member of Kibbutz Nir Oz, left behind his partner Merav Tal, and his children Shir Or and Gil, of whom Merav, Or and Gil were kidnapped to the Gaza Strip and released.

Today, Division 162 completed a targeted raid in the Shati area in the northern Gaza Strip.

The fighters raided and purged terrorist infrastructures, located intelligence materials, confiscated weapons and eliminated many terrorists.
