On the eve of her departure for India and the Miss World competition held there,
Clémence Botino
, Miss France 2020, was the guest of “Buzz TV” this Thursday, February 15.
The opportunity for the 27-year-old Guadeloupean to share her state of mind before D-Day and unveil her national costume for the competition which will take place in New Delhi on March 9.

Among the challenges of this competition, the parade in traditional costumes.
As she tells us, Clémence Botino chose to pay homage to Marie-Antoinette.
“A queen of France, yes!”
she rejoices before detailing the elements of
her outfit.
No wig, but a basket, a coat, boots and a corset which will really be the central elements of the outfit.
I wanted to pay tribute to the
400 years of Versailles
,
marvels the Miss.
We avoid the wig, it’s a modern Marie-Antoinette and not too “costumed”
,” adds the woman who paid tribute to the memory of Joséphine Baker during her performance at Miss Universe.
A competition where she reached the Top 10.

Miss France 2020 also shared her routine before the competition.
“I have sports lessons, catwalk lessons
.
I have four sports sessions per week, with a coach.
Before, I had 5 sessions but it was really too much,”
she admits.
Beyond her sports routine, Clémence Botino must master her beauty without any outside help.
“
Honestly, I prefer it, because I'd rather fail myself than have someone else fail me.
I did everything alone for Miss Universe, and it went very well
,” assures the Guadeloupean.

During this interview, Clémence Botino returned to her reputation as a “black cat”.
Since her election to Miss France, the young woman has experienced a number of bad lucks.
Among them, during the Miss Universe competition, Clémence Botino tested positive for Covid.
“I said to myself, it’s not possible, it’s a sketch,”
she jokes.
Before Miss World, Clémence Botino fears only one thing: cohabitation with one of her competitors.
During the three weeks of preparation on site, the candidates share a room in pairs.
“I don’t know my roommate, it scares me,”
confides the Miss.
“I have received feedback from my colleagues, there are low blows, there are girls who are not necessarily nice,”
she says.
There are also girls who just don't want to talk, it can create an atmosphere in the room that can last a long time
,” she tells us again.
As for her chances of winning, Clémence Botino is optimistic:
“You shouldn't hope too much, but honestly, I believe in it!”
