“Rote Rosen” is often romantic.
Things got even more emotional on Valentine's Day: There was a marriage proposal on the set of the telenovela.
Lüneburg – Excitement, drama, great emotions: “Rote Rosen” is one of the most popular German telenovelas.
The series has been broadcast on Erste since 2006 and continues to delight fans to this day.
On Valentine's Day yesterday (February 14th), there was a romantic atmosphere on set not only in front of the camera, but also behind it.

For once, sparks didn't fly between the series characters - instead, extra Axel provided an emotional climax.
He and his girlfriend Jasmin were invited to be part of the series.
For Jasmin, the extra role was something very special, after all, she is a long-time fan of the telenovela.
And it was actually an unforgettable day for the loyal “Rote Rosen” viewer.
However, for a different reason than expected: Axel surprised his sweetheart with a marriage proposal during filming.
For this he secured the help of the cast.
Thore Lüthje (31), who has been seen as Simon Dahlmann since 2020, was also privy to the plan.
For the actor, it was a matter of honor to help the young fortune get going.
“We are the production of love.
And we show that very clearly today.
Because today we have Axel and Jasmin as our guests.
“Jasmin doesn’t know exactly what to expect,” the TV actor said in an ARD video.

Axel was visibly excited before the proposal.
“I practiced a lot last night and today, but now I keep mixing up the sentences,” he admitted.
In fact, Jasmin had no idea what was coming.

But then Axel began a romantic declaration of love.
“Dear Jasmin, you are not just my friend.
You're not just my best friend.
But you are my soulmate.
We went through difficult times and overcame a lot in a short time,” he said.
Then came the all-important question: “Mausi, my cuddly friend, my heartfelt person, I would like to ask you if you would like to become my wife.” With tears in her eyes, Jasmin said “yes” - followed by a heartfelt kiss to confirm the proposal seal.
How nice!
When it comes to love, the ARD series seems to have a lot on its plate.
“Storm of Love” is a similar story – a star fell in love on the TV set.
