This Thursday, February 15, the municipality of Hérault is organizing a day to try on its school uniforms.
Navy blue Bermuda shorts or skirts, a white shirt, a round-neck sweater and a blazer stamped with the city coat of arms and the name of the school.
While Béziers presents its outfits with great fanfare, behind the scenes the handful of companies specializing in the field in France are impatiently awaiting the generalization of the wearing of uniforms, expected for 2026, after an experiment in around a hundred voluntary establishments.
“We are still in the dark,”
admits, impatiently, Frédéric Garcin, president of Uniforme Prestige.
But we are hopeful that it will clear up quickly.”
