After all the bad news from the British palace, Prince William is now surprising with a positive announcement.

Despite all the bad news, Prince William (41) finally has some positive news to announce.
Prince William's heartfelt project: Location and date of this year's “Earthshot Prize” announced
Since 2020, the “Earthshot Prize” has been a special project close to Prince William’s heart.
This year's venue for the glamorous awards ceremony has now been decided, as Kensington Palace announced on the official website on February 9, 2024: "This November we are bringing our annual celebrations to South Africa for the first time."
The five-day Earthshot Week 2024 is designed to “spotlight groundbreaking environmental solutions and bring together the world’s leading innovators, investors and philanthropists to advance the restoration and protection of our planet,” it said.
In keeping with this, Prince William and Kate Middleton posted a video on their X account (formerly Twitter) that shows Earthshot Prize Global Correspondent Sophia Li in front of Table Mountain.
The royals also post a green heart and the South African flag.
There is already a date for the environmental protection award.
This year's Earthshot Prize ceremony will take place in November 2024, Kensington Palace also announced.

The palace has not yet confirmed whether Prince William and Kate Middleton will travel to Cape Town this year for the “Earthshot Prize”.
The chances are good, however, because Kate's health-related break officially only lasts until Easter, so the princess should be fit again in November.
