Industrie De Nora, a company specializing in electrochemistry and leader in sustainable technologies, has entered into a collaboration with Mangrove Lithium.
Mangrove will use De Nora's electrochemical technologies to refine lithium, both from mines and from the recovery of spent batteries, to produce new batteries, helping to unblock bottlenecks in the lithium supply chain.
"We are very proud of this new partnership which confirms our visibility at an international level and allows us to further expand our outlet markets, broadening our positive contribution in the Energy Storage sector and confirming De Nora's vocation towards the circular economy", states Frank Tomaselli , chief regional officer of De Nora North America.
“We were very impressed with De Nora's facilities, team and operations when we visited them in Japan. Their level of expertise and years of experience will help Mangrove achieve our goals of creating a more sustainable lithium supply chain and unlocking bottlenecks that currently exist between lithium extraction and battery production,” highlights Saad Dara, CEO of Mangrove.
