The PS5 Slim is the latest version of the popular PlayStation console.

The PlayStation 5 Slim was available in stores just a few weeks after the announcement.
Sony's slimmer PS5 console has also long been available in Germany.

With the PS5 Slim, Sony is continuing the trend of releasing a slimmer version for each PlayStation generation.
It's been that way since the first PlayStation.
The most important difference between the PS5 Slim and the previous model is the removable Blu-Ray drive.
Other features of the console include the following:
Size:
The PS5 Slim is around 30 percent smaller than the PS5.
It also weighs around three kilograms less.
Performance:
When it comes to performance, however, there are no differences - games therefore don't run any better or worse on the new model.
Disk drive:
The biggest unique selling point, as already mentioned, is the removable Blu-Ray drive.
Memory:
The PS5 Slim has 830 gigabytes of memory available.
The original PS5 only offers 647 gigabytes.
This means a little more storage space is available, which you can use to install a few more games.
The option to manually install SSD storage remains.
So if you need more storage space, you can continue to do so this way.
