The customers of Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck have to prepare for higher electricity costs.
The reason for this is a decision by the federal government.
Fürstenfeldbruck - The federal government's recent decision to withdraw the subsidies for transmission system operators led to a massive nationwide increase in network fees at the beginning of the year.
Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck can partially offset the resulting additional costs of 2.379 cents per kilowatt hour through cheaper procurement costs.
Nevertheless, it will be a little more expensive for customers, as the municipal utilities now explain in a press release.

“Falling energy prices on the procurement markets help to compensate for a large proportion of the increased costs.
However, it is not possible for us to absorb the burden in full, so we are adjusting our electricity tariffs moderately as of April 1, 2024,” explains Andreas Wohlmann, Head of Sales at Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck, explaining the current situation.
From April 1, 2024, the labor price will be increased by 0.70 cents per kilowatt hour net or 0.83 cents per kilowatt hour gross in the basic supply.
The basic price increases by 21 euros per year net or 24.99 euros per year gross.
All existing electricity tariffs will be adjusted accordingly.
For an average household with an annual consumption of 3,500 kilowatt hours, this results in additional costs of 4.50 euros per month or 54 euros per year.
