Farmers' protests broke out during a visit by Economics Minister Robert Habeck to Seligenthal in Thuringia on Thursday.
Demonstrators with tractors blocked an access route to a factory belonging to the nougat manufacturer Viba.
Posters read: “Too much is too much” or “traffic lights ruin agriculture”.
According to the ministry, the Green politician was already at work.
Seligenthal - There have been protests nationwide for weeks because the federal government wants to abolish tax breaks for agricultural diesel.
