FC Memmingen's table tennis youth team invited people to try out training.
New members are always welcome.

Memmingen - A taster training session for FC Memmingen's table tennis youth recently took place in the sports hall of the Bernhard-Strigel-Gymnasium.
Under the expert guidance of trainer Angelika Thanner and youth director Willebold Göppel, those interested were introduced to the sport of table tennis.
Together with the already active players from the youth department, the basics of the game were explained and practiced.
Trial training for table tennis youth at FC Memmingen - varied stations
So that the fun wasn't neglected, in addition to the training stations for a good and successful serve, table tennis tables were also set up for free play in one-on-one or doubles.
The experienced club players were happy to give tips and help so that the newcomers were rewarded for their interest and felt well received.
Response rather reserved
Even though everyone practiced and played on all the records, Willi Göppel was a little disappointed with the response.
“We would have liked to welcome a few more new faces to promote our beautiful club sport.”
Many young people, but also their parents, are not aware of how good the complex sport is for, for example, hand-eye coordination or concentration and endurance.
Table tennis is a nice addition to the obligations of everyday school life and other leisure activities.
Looking for new members!
New members for the FC youth table tennis department are always welcome.
Finally, the youth team currently playing in cup and league games also regularly needs motivated replacements and teammates.
