The young vacationer rode an eight-seater chairlift with her parents around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday.

However, for reasons that are still unclear, she was unable to sit properly in her seat and slipped, as the police reported.

The father and another person tried to hold the girl, which was successful for a while.

Similar incident to that in Tyrol: Boy fell from chairlift in Allgäu

The accident in Tyrol was apparently not an isolated case: just last Friday, a six-year-old boy fell out of the chair lift during a ski course in Bavaria.

During the accident in Oberjoch in the Allgäu, the child fell eight meters into the depths but only suffered minor injuries.

After a night in the hospital, the boy was released from the hospital, the police in Kempten announced last Monday.

In addition to its slopes, the Ischgl ski resort is best known as a party hotspot in the Alps.

A video recently went viral on Instagram showing the valley run flooded with tourists.
