Bernd Herzsprung has been struggling with his health for a long time.
The actor recently had to go to the hospital again after his heart operation.
Munich – Bernd Herzsprung (81) was taken to hospital again.
He was treated for heart problems in 2022, and now his bladder is bothering him.
The actor is now speaking for the first time about his health and the details of his therapy.
“This time something worrying happened”: Bernd Herzsprung back in the hospital after heart surgery
In September 2022, Bernd Herzsprung had a stent - a medical implant made of metal that keeps closed or narrowed blood vessels open - placed.
“I had a narrowing in the coronary system,” says the actor in the
Bunte
interview.
“It was a chance discovery because my doctor sent me to a cardiologist after a long-term bout of bronchitis,” continued Herzsprung.
Shortly before Christmas last year we had a check-up – with worrying results.
“This time something worrying happened, I had to go to the toilet and there was blood in my urine,” reveals Bernd Herzsprung.
He was immediately transferred to the urology department.
During the ultrasound, something was found in the bladder “that didn’t belong there.”
Bernd Herzsprung has to admit: “That scared me.”
This something turned out to be a bladder stone, which fortunately was able to be removed.
“I’m very worried about Bernd,” ex-wife Barbara Engel (71) told
Bild
at the time .
“He is the father of my daughters and I am eternally grateful to him for that.
I wish Bernd only the very best.”

But as if his health problems weren't enough, Bernd Herzsprung is now also losing his house on Lake Tegernsee.
After 30 years in the house, the landlord has now registered his own use.
The actor doesn't have a new place to live yet, but remains optimistic: "Everyone here now, from the postman to the innkeeper, knows that I'm looking for a new apartment, I hope something comes along soon."
