Employees of a Belgian sorting center made a macabre discovery on Wednesday February 15: a human foot among the waste, a discovery which led to the opening of an investigation.

,” the Namur public prosecutor simply indicated on Thursday.
The foot was found Wednesday morning on a sorting line at the CETT center in Rochefort (south), the company's managing director, Thomas Monseu, told AFP.

“We called the police who asked us to stop working, the line was stopped for the day, before resuming today,” he explained, adding that his center did not had never been confronted with this kind of discovery before.
