magazine , announced two pieces of news this Thursday morning, both referring to the important gala at the Metropolitan Museum in New York (known as the Met Gala) that will take place next Monday, the 6th. of May.

With less than three months left until it is celebrated, she has finally explained what the etiquette will be, that is, how her assistants should be dressed.

On the other hand, she has revealed who, along with her, will be the four hosts of one of the most famous nights per square meter: two men and two women, all of them well-known in the world of entertainment.

They will be the singers and actresses Jennifer Lopez and Zendaya, who have become style icons in recent years, the Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny and the Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor.

They join Jonathan Anderson, creative director of the Loewe brand, and Shou Zi Chew, CEO of the TikTok platform, as honorary hosts.

The theme of the party is in line with that of the exhibition held at the museum.

In fact, the gala takes place on the first Monday in May every year, and right after, and for several months, a fashion exhibition opens that reviews an era, a designer, a trend or an idea.

“Using the natural world as a unifying visual metaphor for the transience of fashion, the show will explore cyclical themes of rebirth and renewal, breathing new life into these historic objects through creative and immersive activations designed to convey the scents, sounds, textures and movements of garments that can no longer interact directly with the body,” the museum explained in a statement.

There will be three subthemes: land, sea and air.

Up to 250 garments and accessories from the last 400 years and barely seen until now will be on display in the museum, including an English Elizabethan body from the 17th century, which can be seen in its display cases from May 10 (four days after the gala ) and for almost four months, until September 2.
