This is a most surprising discovery for the staff of a Marseille leisure center.
This Tuesday, February 14 in the afternoon, the director of an establishment in the 8th arrondissement of the city was surprised to find that one of the children who had come to spend the day at the center had brought a firearm.
The pistol, a “small caliber”
revolver
with five shots according to a police source, was found in the backpack of the little boy, aged only nine.
Fortunately, the weapon was unloaded and demilitarized.
The weapon was allegedly given to the child by his grandfather
When asked about this astonishing discovery, the little boy declared that the revolver had been given to him by his own grandfather.
The weapon was seized by the police and the child's parents were notified.
The latter should soon be summoned to the police station to explain why their child was in possession of this dangerous object.
