President Javier Milei assured today that he does not have to apologize to the governor of Córdoba, Martín Llaryora, for anything and defended the dismissal of Osvaldo Giordano from ANSES, who answers to that governor, because "he is sleeping with the enemy", in reference to the former official's partner, deputy Alejandra Torres, who voted against the ruling party's Omnibus Law.
“I don't have to apologize for anything.
"I am not in politics to solve psychological problems," Milei told radio La Red, in reference to the claim of Llaryora, who last night in an interview demanded an apology from the President similar to the one he had with Pope Francis after calling him "representative." of the Evil One on Earth.”
The Cordoba president made that request last night on television.
"I hope that one day we will meet Milei and she will explain to my face what she said," he said after the head of state treated a group of governors as traitors for the failure of the Omnibus Law.
"In the same way that he apologized to the Pope, who treated him evil, I hope he will also apologize to me," he insisted.
Then he spoke of blacklists of governors: "There were blacklists of journalists, of artists at festivals and now with governors. It is dangerous. What I believe is that we must call for sanity and work on consensus."
In this context, the President defended his decision to fire the head of ANSES, Giordano.
“Didn't Giordano's wife vote against the law?” Milei asked.
“He is sleeping with the enemy, he is sleeping with a traitor, it is life,” argued the head of state.
