On Monday, February 19th, extensive construction work will begin around the Oberhaching church square.
Road users will have to prepare for this in the coming weeks.
Oberhaching
- Water pipes around the church square in Oberhaching need to be replaced.
In the course of this, lines for district heating and fiber optics are being laid.
According to the municipality, all shops on and around the church square are still accessible.
The municipality advises that it is best for drivers to park their vehicle at the community hall or cemetery.
Pedestrians and cyclists can pass through the construction sites from the sides.
Streets become dead ends
Construction work will initially start on Hahilingastraße from Pfarrweg to the “Brotzeit”/Lipp Stadl bakery on Kirchplatz.
For this reason, at the Pfarrer-Socher-Straße/Talanger junction it is pointed out that access to Ilmberger is possible, but no further journey is possible.
From Münchner Straße, access is only possible to the roundabout at the parish hall, as work is also being done on the infrastructure here.
From Lanzenhaarer Straße you can drive into Kirchplatz and up to “Brotzeit”/Lipp Stadl, but this is also a dead end.
Farmers market is taking place
The farmers' market will take place as usual on Friday afternoon on the church square.
The construction work should be completed by mid-May, at the start of the week of celebrations marking the 1275th anniversary of Oberhaching.
Work will continue on the church square in mid-June in order to be finished, if possible, by the start of school in September.
