The latest generation of the Astra introduces a 100% electric version with top-notch performance. A high-tech version of the Opel compact with a new body, the Astra Sports Tourer Electric, the very first fully electric German station wagon.

Opel's successful compact range is enriched with a high-tech zero-emission Astra Electric model, presented in two body styles: 5-door compact sedan or Sports Tourer station wagon to accompany all sports and leisure activities.

The manufacturer therefore offers an ultra-complete range for all needs, with thermal, rechargeable hybrid and 100% electric versions.

A power of 156 hp, a generous engine torque of 270 Nm available immediately, great acceleration and first-rate handling... this is enough to ensure real driving pleasure at the wheel.

The top speed, set at 170 km/h, ensures the Astra Electric stays in its element on German highways.

To best meet everyone's needs, three driving modes are offered: Eco, Normal and Sport.

In the passenger compartment, the ergonomic Active Sport seats accompany this driving experience with excellent support and particular comfort, certified by the AGR label (Aktion Gesunder Rücken eV [VDT1] – independent German association which encourages research into prevention of back pain).

An Opel tradition cultivated for more than twenty years on board its different generations of cars.

More than 400 km of autonomy and 80% charge in thirty minutes

With a range approved at 416 km according to European WLTP standards, the Astra Electric is ready to cover all journeys.

Endurance made possible by very controlled consumption of 14.9 kWh/100 km, according to WLTP approvals.

In less than thirty minutes, its 54 kWh lithium-ion battery can return to 80% capacity, thanks to its rapid recharge peaking at a power of 100 kW.

On a wallbox installed at home, the 11 kW onboard charger allows charging overnight.

With its iconic Opel Vizor front end, the 100% electric Astra offers a strong personality that helps it stand out at first glance.

The sporty treatment of its front fascia and its standard 18-inch alloy wheels, in diamond-cut or completely black finish, give it a dynamic appearance.

The Sports Tourer station wagon version is particularly elegant, while offering XXL useful volume: 516 liters of luggage space, and even up to 1,553 liters once the rear seats are folded.

Numerous driving aids

The interior ambiance is provided by the fully digital Pure Panel instrumentation and infotainment panel, with its two large 10-inch screens.

In addition, the head-up display and natural voice recognition help the driver stay focused on the road.

The Astra Electric features numerous state-of-the-art driving aids as well as an exclusive at the top of the category: the adaptive Intelli-Lux LED Pixel Light projectors with 168 LED segments for ultra-precise night vision.
