A man, illegal and subject to an obligation to leave French territory (OQTF), was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Paris,

He was arrested around 3:30 p.m. by agents of the Ile-de-France network brigade (BRF), on a train departing from the station in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, bound for Mantes-la-Jolie in Yvelines.
Comments in favor of Al-Qaeda
Radicalized, he was the subject of a search warrant, issued at the end of January by the Metz judicial court, following comments made in favor of Al-Qaeda in a church on November 28.
He had left a threatening letter there.
The man, on the run, was first arrested on January 5 in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime), then hospitalized without his consent due to
“psychiatric disorders”
.
The suspect had fled, although an order to appear had been decided by the Metz judicial court to place him in police custody following treatment.
File S and in an irregular situation, the individual was the subject of an OQTF which was notified to him.
He was to undergo a new psychiatric examination this Thursday, according to our colleagues.
