Priests in the Tuscan city of Arezzo have teamed up to form Italy's first clerical dive-a-side team.
The team, 'Clericus Arretium', has a manager in Mario Palazzi who was Serse Cosmi's assistant at Perugia in Serie A and in theChampions League with Udinese.
The clerics play in the Vatican colours, yellow and white.
"The goal was to unite a Church institution with the sporting world," explained the head of the Arezzo sporting center which hatched the idea, Lorenzo Bernardini.
"It's a perfect union of the spiritual and soccer spheres," said the bishop of Arezzo, Cortona and Sansepolcro, Msgr AndreaMigliavacca.
