Editorial intern Talissa Gilke from Berg gets a taste of everyday editorial life and attended the concert of one of her favorite bands: 01099 at Zenith.
She wrote her view of the concert for the Starnberg district messenger!
Munich – On Valentine's Day, the Zenith Hall experienced an evening full of music and energy.
The Dresden hip-hop and rap crew 01099, consisting of three long-time friends Zachi, Gustav and Paul, shook the hall and proved once again why they are one of the rising stars of the German hip-hop scene.
They have been making music together since 2018 - German rap and hip hop.
The name of the band 01099 is a homage to their hometown Dresden and its zip code, which symbolizes the connection and shared history of the three musicians.

New and old songs thrilled spectators
The three met at a very young age in the orchestra at St. Bennos High School.
Even there they were a well-rehearsed team, which becomes visible on stage.
The concert was characterized by great excitement.
Maybe it was Valentine's Day or just the energy between the band and the audience - the atmosphere was tremendous.
Among other things, Zachi floated through the crowd on a blue inflatable boat.
Fans showed their love not only through applause, but also through a fan project in which they threw many roses on the stage during the song “Actually.”
Musically, the concert offered a diverse selection of new and old songs, as well as a few of their unreleased songs.
With the song “Thirst quencher” 01099 scored a hit with hip hop fans in Germany.
It is the three boys' best-known song to date, which spent several weeks in the single charts, won a gold award and has now surpassed the 40 million mark in streams on Spotify.
With this song at the latest, a “mosch pit” started again (a mosh pit, also called a “moshing pit” or “pogo pit”, is a circle that often forms in front of the stage at metal, hardcore or punk concerts in which the audience dances, Source: Wikipedia) in the Zenith Hall.
A concert that will be remembered
At the end, the boys played their last encore, where they were able to share the unstoppable joy and energy with their fans one last time and thus ended their show.
01099 left a lasting impression not only musically but also emotionally.
Her ability to create an authentic atmosphere with her songs makes her a unique presence in the music scene.
“This was my first 01099 concert and I will definitely go to one again.
“It was really cool because the atmosphere was exciting and the light show on the stage went well with the music,” said Luisa.
This Valentine's Day will certainly be remembered by the fans and the band.
