”,
with enormous dark wooden mechanisms.
There is a "straight speed regulator", the "principle of back and forth movement", the "principle of rotary movement" and the endless screw found in jacks today, pulls them -caps and many other objects.
Equipment to see, but not only that.
The green dot on the explanatory note is clear: you can touch and manipulate these giant mechanisms, a simple action animating cogs, levers and other toothed wheels...
After Brussels (Belgium), Istanbul (Turkey), Bordeaux (Gironde) and Lyon (Rhône), it is the turn of Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine) to welcome until mid-May, at Atelier Grognard, this exceptional exhibition dedicated to the genius of the Italian Renaissance.
90 models, 80 facsimiles as well as panels and videos offer a journey through history and science thanks to the achievements of Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519).
