Sanlorenzo Superyacht reduces its CO2 emissions by 600 tonnes with the installation of 3 photovoltaic systems in the shipyards of Ameglia (La Spezia), La Spezia and Viareggio (Lucca).

This can be read in a note which indicates that the operation was carried out in partnership with Axpo Energy Solutions Italia, the 'Esco' (company specializing in energy saving) of the Axpo group, which deals with the development of energy efficiency, renewable and electric mobility.


    The agreement saw the construction of 3 photovoltaic systems, for a total power of 1.5 MW, which adds to the 500 kW already present at the Sanlorenzo offices.


   The group also plans to further increase the installed power up to 3.1 MW by the end of 2024.


    Active for over 60 years, Sanlorenzo designs and builds tailor-made luxury boats and according to the general manager and president Ferruccio Rossi the interventions to reduce emissions are a " strategic investment".
