Not yet a doctor, but already established in the region.
Amelle, 25, an intern at Argenteuil hospital (Val-d'Oise), will soon work as a general practitioner in one of the fifteen municipalities in the Val Parisis conurbation.
She signed an agreement last December with the community.
In exchange for a scholarship of 10,000 euros per year of internship, she undertakes to work in the region at the end of her studies.
This is a system put in place in 2018 by the Val Parisis urban community to try to stop medical desertification.
After modest beginnings, it gained momentum last year.
The community signed this partnership with two medical students in 2018, one in 2019, one in 2020. In 2023, there were six of them, including Amelle, to embark on this path and to date, four doctors are still in activity after having benefited from this scholarship.
