This will be act 4 of the regionalization plan for on-demand transport services for the disabled, which was launched by Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) last year.
After the PAM (To help with mobility) of the departments of Val-de-Marne, Essonne and Paris which were “regionalized” in 2023, it is that of the department of Seine-et-Marne which will be integrated into the new Ile-de-France structure, this Friday.
Requests for adapted transport for the Seine-et-Marnais concerned, which were until now managed at the departmental level, will now be processed by the single reservation center of the Ile-de-France PAM.
Good news for the approximately 2,200 users who occasionally or regularly call on the PAM?
In principle, yes!
Since the grouping of departmental PAMs within a single structure (the operation of which was entrusted to Keolis and its subsidiary Kisio for race planning) was designed to simplify procedures and to harmonize prices and conditions of access to the service throughout Île-de-France.
But the chaotic beginnings of the Ile-de-France PAM, last year in Paris, in Val-de-Marne and Essonne where dysfunctions (races canceled at the last moment, inaccuracies on pick-up times, requests refused, etc.) took place. are multiplied, making some fear an equally difficult transition in Seine-et-Marne.
