Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrives this Friday, February 16 in Paris to sign, at the Élysée, a bilateral security agreement, while his country will soon – on February 24 – enter the third year of war against the Russian invader.
Initially, it was planned that it would be Emmanuel Macron who would go to kyiv, with the period of mid-February being considered.
Trip finally postponed but still on the program, according to the Élysée which does not give further details.
But which "refuses" vigorously against Moscow's allegations according to which security issues in a country at war are the cause of this postponement.

For his third visit to Paris since the Russian invasion, the president in the eternal khaki sweatshirt, incarnation of the resistance of an entire people, will receive a “strong signal” of the “unwavering support” of France, military, economic and political: “Our determination is intact, as strong as the first day and will not weaken,” assures the Élysée.
A signal that is all the more important at a time when the military situation on the ground is difficult, and allied support threatens to erode, as shown by the blocking of aid by the American Congress (not to mention the prospect of a return of Trump at the White House).
