We are all mentally damaged. They want to believe that the IDF will restore security

2024-02-15T11:01:35.901Z

Highlights: Since Black Sabbath we have been residents of Sderot scattered throughout the country. Despite the tragedy, many were looking for the way back home. I don't see the city returning to its previous state, many things will change and the restoration will be long. The fighting must not be stopped, we have suffered enough and that is enough. The enveloping sound, a special special sound project, will be broadcast on Israel's Channel 4 from July 29 to August 1, 2023. For more information on The Enveloping Voice click here.

In the video: Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited the Sderot Police Station with Hadar for National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, Police Commissioner Rt. Kobi Shabtai, Southern District Commander Superintendent Amir Cohen, Station Commander Sen. Four months after we "escaped" from our home in Sderot, we still haven't found the time to mourn all the victims from October 7th.

I personally lost many friends from Sderot, and if that wasn't enough, my niece Mor Gabbai the 14th was also murdered on that cursed Shabbat.

Since Black Shabbat, we are residents of Sderot scattered throughout the country. The great majority is in Eilat, where about ten thousand residents stayed until two or three weeks ago. Today there are approximately 6,000 residents there. Many searched for a way back home despite the whole tragedy. Some found apartments in areas outside Sderot. The rest of the residents are in the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and other cities in the center and the Sharon.

All are mentally damaged. Some are aware of this, and some are who have not yet understood their situation. They want to believe that the IDF will restore our security after we were neglected in a criminal and severe manner.

I try to convince myself to be optimistic, and to believe that security will come to us after 23 years in which we have suffered non-stop.

It is very difficult for me with the attempts to stop the fighting, and it is even more difficult that the American president, who supported the elimination of Hamas, is now doing everything to stop the fighting.

Precisely here I want to praise the Prime Minister's firm stand against stopping the war on the way to the collapse of Hamas.

I do not clear him of the responsibility of the failure, but I am glad that a man of his experience is holding the helm in wartime.

All the demonstrations of the extreme left harm the IDF and this weakens us greatly. The successful operation to free the abductees proves that this is the way to return them home. We must not give in to the delusional proposals to free thousands of murderous terrorists and stop fighting. Today's freedmen are tomorrow's killers. We have had enough.

These days there is talk of returning home to Sderot, and that's fine.

There are residents who are not able to return and that goes without saying, which is why the state allows until July.

There are residents for whom their health is routine, so it is understandable that they return home.

I see myself returning home, because my roots are from the day I was born in Sderot, and I am very connected to the place despite all the tragedy, fear and shock of what we went through.

I don't see Sderot returning to its previous state, many things will change and the rehabilitation process will be very long.

I do hope that military and security forces will surround the city in the near future, this will give a lot of security and strength to the residents who have returned and will return.

Hoping for better days!
