What is the definition of spring tides?

Spring tides are waves with exceptional amplitudes.

These are not the classic tides that can be observed every day, such as diurnal tides (one high tide and one low tide per day) or semi-diurnal tides (two high tides and two low tides per day).

Spring tides are periodic variations in sea level that occur with the gravitational pull of the Moon and Sun on the Earth and create significant differences between high and low tides.
