In March 2020, the X920 express bus was inaugurated in a large gathering with a lot of local political celebrities.
Among others, with the then district administrator Karl Roth, the former mayor of Kraillingen Christine Borst, the Bruck district administrator Thomas Karmasin and the then traffic manager Susanne Münster.

Krailling/Gilching - The district mobility committee decided a week ago to discontinue the X920 express bus from the 2024/25 timetable change (we reported).
For cost and utilization reasons, as the committee said.
And because the neighboring district of Fürstenfeldbruck, which is also involved, also wants to withdraw in December.
The Gilching Greens have also spoken out about the end of the X920 and are supporting their neighbors in Krailling.
After the postponement of the establishment of a local bus for Gilching a good year ago, this would be the next setback in local public transport in Gilching, and this at a time when it is important to strengthen climate-friendly mobility everywhere, write the Gilching Greens.
This would lead to significant deteriorations for Gilching.
The North Industrial Park with its high school and sports facilities would no longer be served directly, nor would the KIM.
“Especially after FFB and Großhadern, there would be a significant thinning out of the clock frequencies.” Großhadern would also only be accessible via a transfer and with a journey time of around ten minutes longer.
U6 important in the event of S-Bahn cancellations
People in Krailling are worried that the Krailling Innovation Mile (KIM) could become less attractive due to the elimination of buses.
Since 2020, the X920 has connected Krailling with the subway in Großhadern and the KIM.
According to Mayor Rudolph Haux, the subway has become more important for Krailling, especially with “the usual S-Bahn failures”.
