The relationship between Meghan Markle and Princess Kate has always been considered tense.
Apparently the Duchess of Sussex took the first step.

As positive as this news may be, the Sussexes are doing their thing.
On the one hand, it can be assumed that after “Spare” Meghan will also publish her memoirs about her time with the royals.
On the other hand, Prince Harry has announced that he will talk about King Charles' (75) state of health in a TV interview in which he wants to raise awareness for his Invictus Games 2025 in Canada.
