A two-year-old girl is in serious condition in hospital after being attacked by her grandmother's two dogs near Rome Friday.
The girl and her grandmother were attacked by the woman's two dogs, including a German shepherd, in Anguillara Sabazia, just north of the Italian capital.
The child, as a result of her injuries, was taken by helicopter by 118 to the Policlinico Gemelli hospital in a reserved prognosis.
The attack occurred at the home of her child'sgrandparents, who were looking after her while her parents were at work.
On the spot were the Carabinieri from the Bracciano station, the forest rangers and the local police.
The elderly woman was also taken to hospital.
