The chicken coop that was damaged in Moshav Margaliot, February 16, 2024/according to section 27a
9,000 chickens died last night (Friday) as a result of a direct hit by a missile in a chicken coop in Moshav Margaliot.
So far, ten chicken coops have been damaged as a result of launches from Lebanon that fell in the settlements of Dobb, Aviv and Margaliot.
Apart from the damage to the animals, there was a lot of destruction of infrastructure.
Eitan Davidi, chairman of the local committee in Margliot and Golan, said that the chicken coop was completely destroyed. "The damage is very heavy," said Lavala!. "A chicken coop with 9,000 litters was completely destroyed and now we are trying to save the chicken coop next to it.
Among other things, mixing tanks, irrigation systems, solar panels were destroyed - and in addition, there is no electricity in Moshav since yesterday.
These are difficult winter days in which severe cold prevails.
I don't understand why we don't have two generators to back up the electrical system in situations like this.
Even if the cages were not destroyed by shelling, they are in danger because they must be connected to an electrical infrastructure.
It is very sad what you see in Margaliot.
This is a shame for the State of Israel."
At the same time, this morning IDF warplanes attacked a Hezbollah military structure and infrastructure in the village of Kantra in Lebanon.
Several terrorists were eliminated and damage was caused to other buildings used by the terrorist organization in the village area.
