A driver ended up in a ditch in Eurasburg.
He swerved to avoid an oncoming car.
The person who caused the accident committed a hit-and-run.
Eurasburg – For a 31-year-old from Eurasburg, the journey ended in a ditch on Wednesday evening.
The reason: He had to swerve because a black station wagon was coming towards him on his road.
Driver with a black Audi drives on the wrong road near Beuerberg
As the Wolfratshausen police report, a traffic accident occurred on Wednesday (February 15) at around 5:25 p.m. in Eurasburg, in the Beuerberg district, in which the person who caused the accident then fled.
A 31-year-old man from Eurasian was driving his Audi A1 on state road 2370 from Penzberg towards Beuerberg.
At the level of the parallel Bahnhofstrasse in the Beuerberg district, a black Audi station wagon with Tölzer license plates came towards the Eurasburger in his lane.
In order to avoid a collision, the Eurasburger had to take evasive action and as a result drove into the ditch next to the road on the right.
He touched a garden fence and got stuck on a container on the property next to the road.
The black Audi just kept driving without stopping.
Beuerberg: The material damage is estimated at a total of around 22,000 euros
The front of the Eurasburger's car was completely destroyed, the damage is estimated at around 20,000 euros.
The damage to the fence of the damaged property is estimated at around 2,000 euros.
The injured driver suffered shock and was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.
A local search for the escaped car was negative.
