The Kika preschool series “Strong with Fidi” has been nominated for the Prix Jeunesse International television award in Munich.
It was also filmed in villages.
Dorfen / Munich – The new KiKA preschool series “Strong with Fidi” (KiKA), which was also filmed in the Erding district, including in Dorfen, has been nominated for this year’s PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL.
The competition from May 24th to 29th, 2024 in Munich will honor high-quality television productions from all over the world.

“Strong with Fidi” (KiKA) addresses conflict situations from the everyday lives of families
and offers solutions.
The preschool series is based on the action concepts of non-violent communication and needs-oriented education. Fidi the bat from the “KiKA tree house” is always there and reflects the children's feelings and wishes with a lot of empathy and her own stories.
In the nominated episode “Luca Doesn’t Want to Play Alone,” Luca is sad because his older sister doesn’t want him there.
The series was filmed with 'real' families, so the Dorfen director and producer Monika E. Schweiger paints an authentic picture of the conflicts that can arise in families with three to six year old children.
“Strong with Fidi” was produced by Lupalipa Media on behalf of KiKA.
