Since 2013, ALZ-Agro has offered a series of dietary supplements that guarantee improvements in productivity in feedlots, dairy farms and fields.
Marketing Director Luis Perez emphasized: "ALZ-Agro's vision is to be a sustainable, innovative agribusiness company, with strategic alliances with its distributors, suppliers and international reach."
Luis Perez, Marketing Director.
For his part, Luis is also one of the founding partners of this company. He maintains that this path is a gradual construction, which implies knowledge and development based on three fundamental pillars: economic, social and environmental sustainability.
It is only achieved with positive economic results -both for the producer and for the company-, as well as if tools and strategies are applied that have the least environmental impact, and being a factor of change in society.
Circular economy
A key factor is the development of the concept of the "circular economy", a dynamic approach that emphasizes
environmental protection
while ensuring economic viability.
This is where the process of developing businesses, products and solutions stands out, based on strategic alliances with different industries since the first years of ALZ-Agro.
In 2007, after having led successful agricultural companies, the founding partners began their journey independently.
The first steps in circular economy were the
development of an organic biostimulant
obtained from the yeast manufacturing process.
With Smartfoil, market leadership was achieved in the field crops segment.
In addition to being organic, this product
reduces part of the nitrogen fertilization
and, therefore, allows us
to lower the carbon footprint
of the system by around 30%.
ALZ-Agro makes great contributions in nutrition.
That first approach led to the next step: entering the livestock feed business, based on byproducts from various industries, such as brewing, malting and yeasts.
Each of these steps required not only taking advantage of these byproducts, but also
developing practical solutions to facilitate and make their use more efficient by producers
.
In just a few years, these were part of the daily diet of more than 250,000 cows: Nutriliq, the "soup for cows."
Perez stated: "We develop valuable products for our customers, and we also provide solutions to other industries with the use of byproducts."
Another example of circular economy is the
use of waste from the pharmaceutical industry
to produce an adjuvant.
By applying Toke Plus, the quality of hard water is improved and greater efficiency of the phytosanitary products applied is achieved.
Developing
ALZ-Agro is currently
developing an innovative product: a sustainable protein
that takes advantage of the benefits of black soldier fly larvae fed with byproducts from the brewing industry, among other sources.
This pioneering practice produces insect meal with an exceptional composition of amino acids, oil and other products for animal feed.
"The protein that we develop from byproducts and the larvae of the black soldier fly is a continuous process that allows us to obtain products of the highest quality in less time and with less use of space and water," specified Alejandro Savage, director of the division. Nutrients.

On the other hand, agreements were also signed
with renewable energy production companies to transform their waste into organic fertilizers
.
Based on the concept of circular economy, the development of new products with less environmental impact allows us to project an even broader offer.
During this year there will be many new developments that are taking shape.
