If you like to show off your books, you can illuminate them on the shelf at home - subtle lighting also makes the room look much cozier.
Some sort their books on the shelf by author, others by color.
If you like to show off your book collection, you can put it in a more beautiful light.
Are you still looking for suitable lighting for your bookshelf?
The right solution doesn’t have to be expensive.

1. Fairy lights for the bookshelf
A simple way to illuminate bookshelves: by attaching a string of lights that you place around the shelf like a frame, for example.
First check whether there is a socket nearby and, if necessary, work with multiple plugs.
Cheap fairy lights (preferably in discreet white to match wood) are sometimes available at hardware stores and in many home furnishing stores.
2. Clip-on lights at the top edge of the shelf
Clip-on lights that you attach to the top edge of the shelf are also simple and practical.
This means that the light shines down onto your favorite books on the shelf from above.
If you also want to use the clamp lamp as a reading lamp, you can look for a warm white light that looks cozy and is suitable for reading at the same time.
Ceiling floodlights with an adjustable swivel arm are also suitable for a reading corner at home.
3. Ceiling lights as wallwashers
Wallwashers are also a way to put the bookshelf in the living room in the right light.
However, you should make sure that the distance between the ceiling light and the shelf is large enough and that the shelf is actually illuminated.
Dimmed light often appears softer and more pleasant and makes the room appear cozy.
