Several trees were felled on Gruber Strasse in Poing.
This is the first work on the new building for the Austrian crane company Palfinger.
Poing - For years, the former and unused Océ/Canon parking lot on Gruber Straße in Poing lay dormant.
Now it has awakened and been made visible: numerous trees and bushes have been cleared.
This is the first work on the new building for the Austrian crane company Palfinger (headquarters: Bergheim near Salzburg).
As reported, the world market leader for crane and lifting systems will build a flagship store here, with two office buildings, between which there will be a large hall for assembly, workshop, development and exhibitions.
In the first construction phase, an office building and the hall are to be built.

In November 2023, the architect Karl Hobiger commissioned by Palfinger informed that although existing trees and bushes would have to be felled, as many as possible should be preserved and others should be replanted.
According to the architect, at the end of the development there will be 53 trees and numerous bushes on the site.
Trees five to six meters high and 35 centimeters thick are to be planted along Gruber Strasse (left).
The property on which the listed technology and mechanical engineering company is building is almost 12,000 square meters (approximately two football fields).
