A person is in police custody on Friday for the homicide of a 41-year-old man with a knife during the night from Wednesday to Thursday in a residence in Clichy Sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis), indicated the prosecution and a police source.
In the early morning of Thursday, a resident of the Bois du Temple residence discovered a man on the ground in cardio-respiratory arrest, covered in blood, in the common areas of his building.
Bloodstained clothes
Presenting a stab wound to the stomach, the victim, born in India according to the prosecution, could not be resuscitated by emergency services.
Following traces of blood, the police arrived at an apartment in the building where they discovered a man with bloodstained clothes trying to block the door.
The latter was arrested and taken into custody.
The investigation is entrusted to the Seine-Saint-Denis judicial police.
