Allershausen streets are in need of renovation in some places.

This is shown by the building authority's report with necessary measures for the future and their costs.

Allershausen

- According to a condition survey from 2022, the roads in the municipality were “considered to be consistently good”.

It has long been clear that parts of the municipal road network are in desperate need of expansion and renovation.

The damage is obvious in many places.

Alois Portz, responsible officer in the building authority, recently explained to the local council how great the need for action really is - in a road condition report including a catalog of measures.

According to Portz, if all urgent construction work and renovations were carried out, it would cost around 1.1 million euros.

15 streets listed

According to Portz, the most expensive of the 15 measures listed include the construction of a sidewalk on the throughroad of Leonhardsbuch at 500,000 euros and the renewal of the water pipes on Bonhofferstrasse and Wilhelm-Löhe-Strasse in Glonnfeld at 300,000 euros.

In some cases, however, according to the to-do list, repairs are needed, i.e. renewing the asphalt surface or something similar.

In addition, funding of 50 percent is expected for the measure in Leonharsbuch.

According to Portz, the construction of the path is planned for 2025 in cooperation with the Freising district.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

In his opinion, Schulstrasse and Mozartstrasse also have priority.

While the renovation of Mozartstrasse is expected to cost 36,000 euros, there is still no cost calculation for the extensive repairs on Schulstrasse, as Portz announced when asked by the FT.

A request has just been sent to several engineering firms to have the extent and scope checked.

Something definitely needs to be done in the entrance area of the school, says Portz.

The local council welcomed the road condition report across the board.

“We haven’t had such a detailed list before,” said Mayor Martin Vaas approvingly.

Vice Mayor Manuel Mück (CSU) also expressly thanked him for the preparation.

Not everything is possible at once

On the council's wish list were, among other things, the village street and a farm road in Laimbach.

According to the catalog of measures, both are considered to be extended and have potholes.

Measures for which a total of around 18,000 euros are estimated.

“Laimbach would be important,” said Josef Lerchl (SPD).

He and others will be asked about it, he argued.

“We can’t do magic,” Portz asked for understanding.

No concrete decisions have been made regarding the expansion or the upcoming renovations.

However, Vaas announced that he would take on one or two major measures next year.

That means that we will be dealing with this topic often in the future.
