3.5% + 1.2% + 0.65%.
Or the scores in the 2019 European elections of the three main so-called “sovereignist” lists.
That is more than 5%... Again this year, the parties which vehemently defend the independence of France in a Europe depicted in an unbearable corset will be candidates for the European elections.
And they will be carefully scrutinized as each percentage weighs: the RN wanting to win ahead of Renaissance, the LR and Reconquête each seeking to get ahead of the other.
In the order of important electoral events: Standing up France of Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, the UPR of François Asselineau and the Patriots of the former frontist Florian Philippot.
That's a little more than 1.2 million votes five years ago between the three of them.
“I will either be top of the list or last on the list!”
» confides the MP for Essonne Dupont-Aignan, who says he is still looking for a “unifying” person to play the leading roles… Impliedly implying that, failing to find the right candidate, he could go there himself.
In recent months, he has pleaded for “maximum unity of sovereignists”.
Without succeeding in convincing.
